A week after the OM-PSG match, Paris Saint-Germain once again plays 11 against 10 against Lens. This required the VAR to signal a foul on Achraf Hakimi that the referee had not seen.
We arrived at game time at the Parc des Princes, and Paris was leading 1-0 since Dembélé opened the score (4th), when a sequence of play took place which changed the situation. Rushing towards the Lens goal, Achraf Hakimi was jostled by Abdukodir Khusanov, nothing to call a foul for Willy Delajod, who a few seconds later awarded a free kick to Lens for a foul by Marquinhos.
But, the referee of this PSG-Lens was questioned by the VAR, because on the tackle of the Lensois player, it was obvious that the latter had come to take the right ankle of the Moroccan international of Paris Saint-Germain, the excess of commitment being obvious. Without hesitation, and after watching the sequence, Monsoeir Delajod expelled the RC Lens player, who did not contest his sanction, aware of having been close to causing great damage.
