The singer Pabllo Vittar turned 31 this Friday (1) and, in more than two decades of career, accumulates awards, hits and records, being considered one of the most popular drag queens in the world.
Following the success of the hit “Open Bar” in 2015, the artist has been emerging in the world of music and even participated in Madonna's show in Rio de Janeiro, in May. Furthermore, she became the first Brazilian drag queen to enter the Billboard Hot 100 music charts and Spotify's Global Top 50.
According to a report in the North American newspaper The New York Times, Pabllo Vittar will be the biggest drag queen in the world, occupying the position currently held by RuPaul Charles.
To celebrate the singer's birthday, music streaming Deezer carried out a survey with data from the last year — from October 28, 2023 to October 28, 2024 — and listed which tracks were most listened to by Brazilians during the period.
The research highlighted that in April, when Pabllo released the song “São Amores”, a track from the album “Batidão Tropical vol. 2”, caused the drag queen’s profile to have a peak in reproductions with a 550% increase.
The hit went viral on TikTok because of a Colombian woman and conquered several Latin American countries.
It was also revealed that the singer's audience on the platform is 75% men and 25% women, with an age range ranging from 18 to 45 years old.
The research recorded that the cities that play the most hits are in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Fortaleza.
