During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray commented on the potential of a Roman Reigns vs. The Rock match and his belief that it could sell out the Rose Bowl, which is a venue in California that once held 106,869 fans for the 1973 Rose Bowl game.
Ray said, “I definitely think Rock and Roman — at some point, whether that’s main-eventing Night 2 of SummerSlam next year or WrestleMania, whatever it is, it’s going to be huge. I think Rock and Roman sells out the Rose Bowl, and that’s a hundred thousand people.“
Over the summer, John Cena made his return to WWE to announce that 2025 would be his final year as a wrestler. When RAW moves to Netflix on January 6, Cena will begin his retirement tour.
While appearing on “The Rich Eisen Show,” The Miz revealed that he’d like to face off against John Cena one more time. He said,
“We’ll never see John Cena in a match at WrestleMania ever again. When Cena says something, that’s one of those things. Like sometimes it’s like, oh, no, they’ll be like Motley Crue. It’s our last tour ever. Then they’re on tour three years later. No, Cena’s not like that. If Cena says this is it, this is it. And I’m curious to see who’s going to go up against him because I’m putting my name in the hat. I’ll heel that one out all day. Names in the hat.”
