UFC heavyweight king Jon Jones has shared his thoughts on Francis Ngannou’s recent victory at PFL. After Ngannou bested Renan Ferreira on Oct. 19, Jones uploaded a post on X where he showered praise on ‘The Predator’ and congratulated him for the win.
“What an amazing job Francis did tonight, displayed a complete MMA game. Great kicks, great takedowns. It feels good to see him shine. Wow congratulations Champ, I see you.”

For years, MMA fans have been wanting to see a showdown between Ngannou and ‘Bones’. The fighters have expressed their wish to fight each other but the bout never materialized when they were both in the UFC. Now that Ngannou is in the PFL, the chances of the matchup becoming a reality are even more slim.
However, that does not stop MMA fans from speculating how the heavyweight clash would possibly go down. One fan commented under Jones’ post for Ngannou, saying that ‘The Predator’ would make light work of him inside the octagon.
The UFC heavyweight king responded by saying:
“Sure, everyone beats me up until they’re in there with me.”
After not competing in MMA for nearly three years, Ngannou made a comeback on Saturday. He went up against Ferreira in the main event of PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants at The Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ngannou started on an impressive note as he scored a takedown in the opening minutes of the fight. He then proceeded to throw ground-and-pound strikes on Ferreira that led to a brutal knockout for the Cameroonian.
With the victory, Ngannou extended his win streak to 7-0 and also captured the inaugural PFL Super Fights heavyweight title.
