Not a word from management

There should only be around ten or fewer administrative employees left for the club. 97 people, 97 families are hit hard by the financial mismanagement which led the Bordeaux club into the amateur world, with the man who took charge of the club more than three years ago still at its head today, businessman Gérard Lopez.

It is Bleu which provides this information. The very large-scale social plan was validated a few days ago by the Bordeaux commercial court, because the FCGB is in receivership.

Thus, 97 people are leaving the club from November 6. No word from management has been addressed to these men and women who are losing their jobs. The cost for the club would be around €6m. This will be one more debt for the club and Gérard Lopez.

New organization chart

France Bleu Gironde announces the implementation of a new organization chart made up of 10 or 11 people with a general manager, a financial director, an administrative director, and a marketing/ticketing/communication manager who will have 3 employees under his responsibility. In addition, there will be a stadium manager, a security manager, an events manager and a steward.

It’s a whole club that will have to learn to operate differently. The club’s headquarters should remain at Haillan.
