The Atlas Lions scored a third victory in a row in the qualifiers for CAN 2025 with a big defeat against the Central African Republic: 5-0. Thanks to this success, they quietly secure first place in group B.
It was Abde Ezzalzouli who got the ball rolling in the 18th minute. But the real hero of the evening was Azzedine Ounahi, the midfielder, loaned by OM to Panathinaikos. The latter not only offered an assist to Hakimi for the 3-0 (45th), but he also scored the second Moroccan goal with a sublime curling shot after good work from Ben Seghir (2-0, 38th), before scoring a double just before returning to the locker room (4-0, 45th + 2).
