Total rain storm Kirk

A very disrupted week is ahead in France, with the arrival of tropical storm “Kirk” in sight from Wednesday.
After a brief period of coolness due to an anticyclone in recent days, a disturbed ocean flow quickly regains control of the country on Sunday. The first disturbances will bring heavy rain from Monday, with accumulations ranging from 20 to 50 mm in 24 hours, particularly on a diagonal going from the South-West to the North-East.
The most significant passage is expected between Wednesday and Thursday with “Kirk”, a former hurricane which is expected to cause intense precipitation. Accumulations could reach 60 to 80 mm in just 6 to 12 hours in some regions, although the exact trajectory of the disturbance remains to be clarified.
For this Monday, our forecaster Christopher Growelski indicates pleasant weather with beautiful sunny periods and a few fair weather clouds (towards the coast).
In the afternoon, the sun remains generous on the coast. The clouds will become more and more numerous inland and sometimes threatening with a risk of showers in the evening.
The wind: from the South/South-West sector will be moderate at 20-30 km/h, it will shift to the South sector during the day.
Temperatures:
For tomorrow morning, we expect:
11°C to 13°C in the morning and 17 to 19°C in the afternoon
