France Télévisions pays tribute to Michel Blanc, an immense and multifaceted actor, author, dialogue writer and director of great talent. He accompanied the lives of the French and left his unique mark on more than four decades of cinema.

From his beginnings within the troupe of Splendid with his poignant and subtle interpretations, Michel Blanc was able to conquer the hearts of the public thanks to his acerbic humor, his incisive outlook and his ability to reinvent himself.
Multiple awards have highlighted the variety of his acting, on stage and in front of the camera, and the richness of his filmography. His talent and his work were notably distinguished at the Cannes Film Festival by the Male Interpretation Prize for Evening wear in 1986 and by the Screenplay Prize for Very tired in 1994.
