Matin
Clearings are present in the northwest while showers occur in the northeast with wind. The far south, from Occitanie to PACA, benefits from veiled sunshine with a good impression.
But in between, it rains from the start of the morning, from Poitou-Charentes to Auvergne and Franche-Comté under a covered sky.
Minimum temperatures are unchanged, seasonal, ranging from 11 to 15°C from north to south.
Afternoon
It continues to rain from the Charentes to Limousin, Auvergne, Franche-Comté and the Northern Alps, where the accumulations are expected to be the highest. You will need to be careful near torrents and on the secondary mountain network. It is in the evening that the rains are heaviest.
North of the Loire, the impression is quite pleasant, especially in the north-west, with nice clearings, but Hauts-de-France and the north-east maintain unstable weather with freshness, noticeable wind and showers.
To the south, the sky becomes veiled and cloudy over Occitanie with a risk of showers at the end of the afternoon.
Maximum temperatures are stationary and always lower than the seasonal averages, ranging from 14 to 23°C from north to south.
Soirée
The rains persist down from Aquitaine to the Central massif and the Alps. In the northwest, mixed and cool weather is expected. Mild weather continues on the French Riviera and Corsica.
Further trend:
Wednesday will still be rainy in the center-east, particularly in the Alps. A stormy spell will also affect PACA. Elsewhere, the weather is improving with the return of sunny spells, but showers will still fall in the northeast. From Thursday, the weather improves everywhere but it will still be quite cool with a light northeast wind. This improvement could last until week-end.
