A global outage affected millions of PlayStation users on the night of Monday September 30 to Tuesday October 1. Here is what we know about this partially corrected technical incident.
This is another major outage for PlayStation. During the night of September 30 to October 1, the PlayStation Network servers were affected by an outage, with consequences for all players on the planet.
After a night without functional servers, PlayStation Network services appear to be back to normal, except for online games. “We are doing our best to resolve these problems as quickly as possible,” indicates the video game giant on its website, much to the chagrin of players.
No communication from Sony
If online games are unable to function, games that do not require a connection to online servers and can be played solo can be used.
For now, the Sony group has still not officially communicated on the origin of the PSN outage, which also prevented millions of players from purchasing content on the PlayStation Store or updating their console.
