Pink October – Greater Besançon
A protean communications campaign par excellence, October is declared pink every fall to encourage breast cancer screening. Multiple awareness-raising actions will be continued this year, particularly in priority neighborhoods (Montrapon, Planoise, Clairs-Soleils) or within municipal swimming pools. Five workshops organized in partnership with CPAM 25 in neighborhood centers and associative structures will be led by a midwife. The various information stands will be co-hosted by the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Regional Cancer Screening Coordination Center and the League Against Cancer, Doubs-Besançon committee.
A more festive version of Pink October takes place over 4 dates, with:
- The 4e first edition of the Boucles Roses (trails and hikes at Fort de Bregille) on Sunday October 6 ;
- The Saturday 12, the Dragon Ladies discovery day (2 avenue Chardonneret). The same day, the Bal Rose de Franche-Comté Danse Sportive (Kursaal, 6:30 p.m. > 1:30 a.m.; reservation required);
- Then the Thursday 24a special “Boucles Roses” concert given at La Rodia;
- Finally, the show “Masquerade” by the Voice and Dance troupe presented at the Kursaal Sunday 27 (14 h 30).
- Also note, the 8th edition of Hacking Health in Besançon, October 18 to 20 at the UFR Santé in Hauts-du-Chazal.
