The people of Stéphane have heart. A week after their historic disappointment in Nice (8-0 defeat), the Greens snatched a draw at Beaujoire on Sunday, after being led 2-0 by Antoine Kombouaré’s Nantes (2-2). A precious point, their first away, which allows them to come back one step behind Toulouse, 15th and beaten by Lyon earlier in the afternoon.

Dominated for almost an hour by the Canaries carried by a Lepenant of the great days, author of a goal and an assist, Dall’Oglio’s men came very close to the KO. Saved by the post from a strike from Abline, the promoted team then got back together in the space of ten minutes. Great man of this part, Ibrahim Sissoko reduced the gap with a header (2-1, 58th), before obtaining a penalty which he himself transformed to equalize (2-2, 67th). At the end of the match marked by the exclusion of Coco, Nantes continued a third match without success and missed the opportunity to move up to 4th place.

Another team in difficulty since the start of the season, Angers lost again, for the fourth time in six days. Red lantern, the SCO has suffered the law of an attractive Stade de Reims in recent weeks (1-3).
