Faced with Brendan Allen, Nassourdine Imavov won by unanimous decision against the American despite a difficult first round.
Nassourdine Imavov played very big! The ‘Sniper’ absolutely wanted to fight in Paris, to the point of accepting a fight against someone lower ranked than him. And not against just anyone, since his opponent Brendan Allen had 7 consecutive victories, including 6 by submission. But the Franco-Dagestani did the job by winning by unanimous decision. Despite a complicated first round which he spent entirely controlled on the ground, he was able to find the solution in the last two to win by unanimous decision. Once his victory was announced, he asked the UFC and Dana White for a title fight.
Round 1 : From the first seconds, Nassourdine is taken to the ground and will spend the entire round with Brendan Allen working his positions. The American landed few strikes, but clearly took the round.
Round 2 : From the start of the round Allen tries to go to the legs of the ‘Sniper’, but the latter no longer lets himself be carried away.
