Australian Open > Four players fighting for a first Grand Slam quarter-final, and there is a Frenchman!

After the surprise defeats, this Thursday in the second round of the Australian Open, of Daniil Medvedev and Frances Tiafoe, respectively seeded number 5 and 17, part of the table has opened considerably, and it could well benefit a French player.

Indeed, Corentin Moutet is in the balance with three other players to play a first quarter-final in a Grand Slam: the young American Learner Tien, magnificent knocker of the Russian, Fabian Maroszan, winner of the American and Lorenzo Sonego.

Corentin will inevitably have a chance to play against the first city in the third round given that the latter will certainly be blunted after his huge battle against Daniil. We will then have to see what will happen to the very indecisive duel between the Hungarian and the Italian.
