At a press conference, the American qualified for 3^th tour after his success against Carreno Busta, was asked about his left-handed status and his answer was quite surprising.

« In fact, the truth is that you can't train yourself. This is impossible, except when the draw is made and we play Draper, Shapo or Ugo Humbert. This is when I am in great demand. Other than that, people don't want to train with you. For my part, it doesn't bother me. I hit with a righty, a lefty, a big one, a short one, a server, a grinder. It doesn't really matter.
