Captain of the French wheelchair Tennis team during the Paris Olympic Games, Yannick Noah has agreed to become the new national paratennis coordinator within the French Tennis Federation (FFT).
“Yannick Noah will now manage all paratennis practices within the National Technical Directorate: wheelchair tennis, deaf and hard of hearing tennis and blind tennis”wrote the FFT in a press release.
“I am very happy to join the paratennis team of the French Tennis Federation. I would like to thank the FFT for the trust it has placed in me for this new mission which is particularly close to my heart. I had an incredible human experience alongside the players of the French wheelchair tennis team during the Paris Paralympic Games and I didn't want this beautiful story to end there. I would like to get fully involved in the development of paratennis”declared the winner of the 1983 edition of Roland‐Garros who will take up his new position from 1is January 2025.
