The curtain fell on Sunday, November 3 on the Tennis Club Auscitain fall tournament. Benjamin Sure and Laura Busnel won the men's and women's singles.
Autumn will have been sporty on the courts of the Auscitain Tennis Club. Launched on October 18, the club tournament ended last Sunday under clear sunshine. A great way to end a successful 2024 edition, which saw the number of participants increase compared to last season (141 players in total for 186 participants, some players being entered on several tables).

To top it off, the finals of the men's and women's singles tables only pitted Gersois against each other. In men's singles, Benjamin Sure (1/6, Nogaro) quite easily defeated Rémi Palisses (4/6, Save), who had put in a great performance in the morning by dominating Adrien Doucet (3/6, Sète) . For the ladies, the final was more closely contested, to the great pleasure of the spectators. Laura Bunel (3/6, L'Isle-Jourdain) won the first round (7/5) against a combative Manon Pondicq (15/1, Auch). The second round was shorter but also contested, the Lisloise once again making the difference to win the match and the tournament.
After the finals, the club presented the prizes before closing the tournament with an aperitif.
