Terence Atmane loses to Taylor Fritz in the second round of the Shanghai Masters 1000

Interrupted the day before, by rain, at 4-3 for Fritz, without a break, the match resumed under the roof of Central. In Atmane’s box, there was both Robin Boulé, the coach who made him progress a lot between 2021 and early 2024, but also Guillaume Peyre, former coach among others of Marcos Baghdatis (during his final at the 2006 Australian Open) and Richard Gasquet (in 2008-09), who often had Boulé as a collaborator in the past, notably when he coached in China.
