Installed in the Olympic village during the Paris Games, Félix Lebrun shared it with many other renowned athletes, including Rafael Nadal. The young French ping prodigy also remembers seeing him in a striking situation.
Between them, they played a huge role in the volcanic atmosphere that reigned within the Arena Paris Sud throughout the fortnight. Alexis and Félix Lebrun indeed attracted the crowds during the Paris Olympic Games and gave them the show they were waiting for. Notably the youngest of them, winner of the bronze medal in both singles and doubles. Enough to make some jealous.
In the middle of the Olympics, the scene involving Rafael Nadal which shocked Félix Lebrun
Like Félix Lebrun, Rafael Nadal would have liked to add a little more to his record during the Paris Games. Even more so at Roland-Garros, where he has triumphed so often in his career. Whether in singles or doubles, he was however eliminated prematurely. Not of course by one of the Lebrun brothers, even if the latter are not clumsy with a tennis racket, as Alexis revealed to Legend :
Alexis Lebrun : In other racquet sports, we get by, whether in tennis or padel. We’re not good either, but we’re getting by. I would say that in tennis, we have a small level of 15/2 or 15/3, something like that.
Experts in the little yellow ball will be able to testify that the two young progids are doing better than “getting by” on the courts in view of this ranking.

Starting with the youngest of the siblings, who immediately cited Nadal when talking about the celebrities he was able to meet in the Olympic village. This, before delivering an anecdote which apparently had an impact on him involving the Spaniard:
Félix Lebrun : As someone who is a bit of a tennis fan, I immediately noticed that Nadal was in the village. There was also (Carlos) Alcaraz. Besides, at one point, I was with Alexis, Jules (Rolland) and Simon (Gauzy), and we saw Nadal, Alcaraz and Murray talking together. We walked past them and were like, “Holy shit, this is crazy. It really is the multiverse! » (Laughs)
Whether it was Rafa, Murray, or to a lesser extent Alcaraz, several tennis legends were gathered in the venue located in Saint-Denis. Enough to delight the Lebruns and their partners in the French ping team, amazed by such a scene. There is no doubt that they would also have liked to see Novak Djokovic there, who however preferred stay elsewhere for very specific reasons.
Tennis lover, Félix Lebrun could not ignore the presence of Rafael Nadal in the Olympic village during the Paris Games. And even less the discussion that the latter would have had before his stunned eyes with Carlos Alcaraz and Andy Murray.
