The match between the French Harold Mayot and Benjamin Bonzi will attract the most attention.
The Franco-French duel which will pit Harold Mayot against Benjamin Bonzi on the afternoon of this Friday, September 27, is just as open as the other three quarter-finals of the CO’Met Orléans Open.
In the first round of Wimbledon, in 2023, Harold Mayot won in three sets, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5; in Illkley this summer, still in England and again on grass, the former junior world number 1 did it again, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. But at the Arena, it will be another surface, and another story… perhaps.

Followed by: Mark Lajal (EST, q.) – Alexander Blockx (BEL); then Jakob Schnaitter-Mark Wallner (ALL) – Anthony Genov (BUL)-Samuel Vincent-Ruggeri (ITA); then Benjamin Bonzi (FRA) – Harold Mayot (FRA, n°5); then Hamad Medjedovic (SER) – Marc-Andrea Huesler (SUI); followed by Sander Arends (NED)-Luke Johnson (GB, n°3) – Benjamin Bonzi-Sascha Gueymard-Wayenburg (FRA).
The other oppositions will also be worth the trip: we will see if the liveliness and the beautiful left hand of Matteo Gigante will be able to slow down the momentum of Jakob Fearlney; if Alexander Bockx will be just as irresistible against Mark Lajal, from qualifying, as previously; and if their third confrontation will finally turn to the advantage of Marc-Andrea Huesler, to the detriment of Serbian striker Hamad Medjedovic.
