Eight years after attending his father's first presidential inauguration, Barron Trump returned to the Capitol for Donald Trump's second swearing-in. The youngest son of the 47th President of the United States is now 18 years old.
Barron arrived at the Capitol rotunda accompanied by his mother Melania Trump and his maternal grandfather Viktor Knavs. When Donald Trump entered the White House in 2017, Barron was just 10 years old and was kept as far from the spotlight as possible, unlike his siblings Ivanka, Don Jr, Eric and Tiffany, who played a active role in their father's political career. Melania Trump wanted to protect her son at all costs.
Barron Trump grew up in New York City, attending top public schools on the Upper West Side. After Inauguration Day 2017, he finished the school year in Manhattan before moving to the White House, where he continued his education at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Maryland. At the end of Trump's presidency in 2021, the family settled permanently in Palm Beach, Florida, where Barron completed high school at an upscale institution.
Last year he graduated from high school. He is now in his first year of college at New York University's Stern School of Business, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the country. A choice of orientation which testifies to his interest in business, his father's favorite field.

Melania Trump also said that Barron had given her father valuable advice during the 2024 presidential campaign on how to approach young people: it was he who had convinced him to receive popular streamers and podcasters for reach the youngest electorate.
