In this round of 16 of the Australian Open Grand Slam, we find the Russian Veronika Kudermetova and the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina. Veronika Kudermetova concluded her previous season with consecutive defeats and also started her 2025 season with a first round defeat in Brisbane.
