Already trailing two sets to zero in the previous round by Felix Auger‐Aliassime before winning, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina did it again this Friday against Jakub Mensik in the third round of the Australian Open, even saving two match points in the tiebreak of the third set: 3–6, 4–6, 7–6(7), 6–4, 6–2, in 3h28 of play.
Asked about these two match points saved during the on-court interview, the Spaniard delivered a surprising answer.
