With seven finals contested for four titles including two Grand Slams in Melbourne and New York, the Belarusian splashed the year with her talent.
She also won the Masters 1000 in Cincinnati and Wuhan. She is ahead of Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Qinwen Zheng and Jasmine Paolini.
The Italian, in fact, was honored in another category. The pair Sara Errani/Jasmine Paolini was voted best doubles pair of the season.
Together, they won the gold medal at the Olympic Games and were runners-up at Roland Garros.
Victorious at home at the Masters 1000 in Rome, they also participated in the WTA Finals in Riyadh at the beginning of November.
In terms of the best progression of the year, Emma Navarro won.
The American won the title in Hobart in January and was rewarded for her consistency by entering the top 10 for the first time.
She also made the semi-final at the US Open. She beat Collins, Kalinskaya, Shnaider and Kostyuk.
Regarding the revelation of the 2024 season, Lulu Sun was awarded the prize. The 23-year-old left-hander surprised everyone by reaching the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, all while coming out of qualifying.
Her recent performances have allowed her to enter the top 40. The New Zealander, who was chosen to the detriment of Erika Andreeva, Sramkova, Sonmez and Kartal, will try to confirm her good form in 2025.
Finally, Paula Badosa was elected in the comeback of the year category. Titled in Washington, the 26-year-old Spaniard is back stronger than ever.
She confirmed her good end-of-season form by reaching the quarter-finals at the US Open and beat Muchova, Osaka, Raducanu and Anisimova.
