Computex 2023: MSI launches the MPG GUNGNIR 300R/300P AIRFLOW case

MSI is also at Computex and has just launched its brand new mid-tower case in the series MPG GUNGNIR 300R/300P AIRFLOW. The MPG GUNGNIR 300 chassis is a Mid-Tower ATX model. To meet gamers’ growing demand for heat dissipation, comprehensive optimizations have been made to cooling fan compatibility and integration. The 300R model is pre-equipped with 4 x 12cm ARGB fans and can accommodate up to 4 x 12cm fans, 1 x 8cm fan and 2 x 6cm fans. Plus, with built-in liquid cooling, up to five 12cm fans can be installed for maximum system heat dissipation.

With graphics cards getting bigger and bigger, the MPG GUNGNIR 300 series chassis was designed not only to ensure optimal compatibility, but also to relieve the load on the motherboard. In addition to reinforcing the PCIE slot on the motherboard, the chassis is equipped with a 90 degree swivel graphics card bracket with bi-directional sliding rails.

This patented design helps hold the graphics card firmly and securely during extended use. In addition, the horizontal/vertical snap-on PCI-E bracket allows you to adjust the most suitable bracket position according to the size, shape and connector location of the graphics card. This not only avoids damage to the PCB of the card, but also improves the service life of the motherboard.

MSI also recognizes the importance of practical assembly design to allow gamers to modify and expand their hardware at any time. The sliding HDD rack of the MPG GUNGNIR 300 series chassis can be quickly adjusted according to the installation needs of electrical components and liquid cooling.

In addition to the MPG GUNGNIR 300R, the other is the MPG GUNGNIR 300P case for gamers who have higher performance requirements. One 8cm fan and two 6cm fans are pre-installed to help cooling the M.2 SSD and graphics card backplane effectively.

Both chassis are expected to go on sale in August. No prices or availability at the moment.
