Casio US now sells four more watches that celebrate the original G-Shock model: DW5600RL-1, the DW6900RL-1, the GA110RL-1And GA2100RL-1A. These wearable products launched in Japan last year and were spotted in product listings on the US site earlier this year. They follow the DW5000R-1A which was launched and quickly sold out in December.
The DW5600RL-1 features a rectangular design similar to the DW-5000R, with a resin case and strap. This digital watch is claimed to last up to five years on a CR2016 battery and features a white Super Illuminator LED backlight. Other features include a 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer and multi-function alarm. The DW6900RL-1 model has identical features, but its dial is round.
The GA110RL-1S is an analog-digital hybrid watch that is magnetism-resistant and provides world time in 48 cities. This model is supposed to work for two years and is equipped with an amber LED backlight. It also offers a countdown timer, five daily alarms and a more precise 1/1000th of a second stopwatch. The GA2100RL-1A is another hybrid model, this time featuring a Carbon Core Guard structure and glow-in-the-dark Neobrite elements. According to Casio, the battery lasts about three years and this watch has dual LED backlighting. It also has a countdown timer, a 1/100th of a second stopwatch and support for five alarms.
All of these watches are shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters, with a fully automatic calendar to 2099 and an accuracy of 15 seconds per month. You can now purchase the Casio G-Shock DW5600RL-1, DW6900RL-1 and GA110RL-1S watches for $99 in the brand’s online store in the United States. The G-Shock GA110RL-1A is more expensive, at $130. These models are also available in several European countries, including the United Kingdom.
