The world is moving forward, and applications are trying to keep up with its crazy pace. This is of course the case, in particular, of WhatsApp.

“We are always looking to make WhatsApp easier to use and make it more fun, and we're excited to kick off the year by bringing you a set of new features and design improvements,” writes the development team on the instant messaging app's blog.

Faster reactions and selfie stickers

The green logo application has seen some improvements since mid-January 2025. Among them, we find:

• Camera effects: when you take and send a photo or video in your chats, you can choose one of 30 backgrounds, filters and effects to enhance it;
• Les stickers selfie : it is now possible to transform your photo into a sticker (coming soon to iOS);
• Sharing a sticker pack: Have you spotted a pack of stickers that one of your friends will like? You can now share it easily, directly in your discussions.
  
• Faster reactions : You can now double-tap a message to react to it and quickly scroll through the reactions you use most.

So many new features that will certainly delight users, already happy to be able to scan documents directly in the application.
