58 former Academicians meet for the first “Star Académie” variety event

Fifty-eight former Academicians met on Sunday during the first variety of the 2025 season of Star Academy.

They stood on the balconies where, from next week, the public will sit.

In total, there are approximately 700 seats to accommodate fans of the musical competition every Sunday at the MELS studios in Longueuil.

The big winners of the first seven editions were almost all on site, namely Wilfred LeBouthillier (2003), Marc-André Fortin (2005), Jean-Marc Couture (2012), William Cloutier (2021) and Krystel Mongeau (2022).

Only Stéphanie Lapointe (2004), who turned the page on her musical adventure, and Maxime Landry (2009) were conspicuous by their absence.

Wilfred LeBouthillier, Marie-Élaine Thibert, Annie Villeneuve and Suzie Villeneuve, all from the first season 22 years ago, covered the theme song And it’s not overwhich has become the essential anthem of Star Academy.
