Anderlecht have their sights set on Tanatswa Nyakuhwa. The 19-year-old winger plays for Cardiff.
The last few weeks have shown that Anderlecht does not only want to strengthen the first team. The RSCA Futures also have their own budget, enough to attract promising recruits.
Enzo Sternal and Ibrahim Kanaté recently joined the team, with the aim of one day joining the A core, but also to ensure the maintenance of the young Mauves in D1B initially. Considered as a showcase for the club and even as a selling point, the youth team is approached very seriously by Olivier Renard.
Tanatswa Nyakuhwa, a new path for the future
It is also with this in mind that Anderlecht is interested in Tanatswa Nyakuhwa. He is a young Welsh winger. Also of Zimbabwean origin, the boy represents Wales, playing with the national U19s.
-At his club Cardiff, Nyakuhwa was integrated into the U21s, with the hope of one day knocking on the door of the first team. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht monitor him carefully for the next transfer windows.
If Tanatswa Nyakuhwa were to sign for Brussels, he would become the second Welsh player in Anderlecht’s history. The first ? We don’t have to go back very far since it concerns James Lawrence (now active at Almere), who played 26 matches during the 2018/2019 season.
