We already talked about the GMKtec Evo-X1 HX 370 in our last article November 2024. Today, the mini PC is offered in another variant. It does not fundamentally differ from previous versions, but it has significantly more memory. To be more specific, the mini PC is now available with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD hard drive. This version is currently on sale for $1,029, while the list price is $1,699. It’s unclear whether GMKtec will ever charge MSRP for its latest mini-PC.
This computer measures 110.19 x 107.3 x 63.2 millimeters and is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor which has 12 cores and an AI computing power of 50 TOPs. The system is equipped with an integrated AMD Radeon 890M processor and eGPU support via OCuLink. Two PCIe 4.0 slots are provided for full-sized M.2 2280 modules, while external hard drives can be connected via USB 4. This port can also be used for video output, but the GMKtec Evo-X1 also has HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1.
Additionally, two 10Gbps USB 3.2 ports are available on the front, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the back, the mini PC has two additional USB 2.0 ports as well as two Ethernet ports with a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 Gbps. The computer also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
