TCL unveils X955 Max 115-inch QD Mini LED in India

TCL has expanded its range of premium flagship TVs by launching a new 115-inch X955 Max in India. This TV features a QD Mini 4K LED display with 144Hz variable refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness, covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and supports Dolby Vision IQ technologies and HDR 10+. According to TCL, this is the world’s first QD MINI LED TV to offer more than 20,000 local dimming zones.

TCL integrates its in-house T-Screen Ultra technology into the 115X955 TV to improve contrast and overall picture quality. The flagship TV is equipped with an AiPQ TM Pro processor, coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Software-wise, it uses Google’s Google TV software. Additionally, the device is TUV certified for low blue light emission and flicker-free operation.

The QD Mini LED model measures 101 x 59.4 x 17.5 inches (WHD) (2565.4 x 1508.7 x 444.5 mm) (with stand) and weighs 100 kg. It features an Onkyo 6.2.2-channel HiFi audio system with 120W output power, including two adjustable speakers, subwoofers and four surround speakers, and is compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS technologies. The TV features 6ms input lag and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and you get all the standard port options, including HDMI ARC, USB-A ports, and RF input for connecting external devices like the Xbox and PlayStation 5 ($449 currently on Amazon). Other features of the 115X955 Max include Game Master Mode 2.0, VRR with DLG up to 240Hz, Enhanced IMAX certification, Auto Low Latency mode, Multi-View 2.0, Google voice command support Assistant, Alexa and Apple Homekit, built-in Google Chromecast and Wi-Fi 6.
