A new president at the Horticultural Society

One Daniel can hide another near the Horticultural Society of Orléans and Loiret in Saint-Jean-de-Braye. And this since the resignation of Daniel Meret, its president for nineteen years, who chose to hand over, Saturday morning, at the end of the general assembly.

Taking over is Daniel Lefèvre, a member of the board of directors for around twenty years.

Around thirty people attended this meeting. The opportunity to present an activity report of the section, mainly oriented around floral Art. 78 members attended the regular sessions, 281 compositions were created around different themes, depending on the season. Add to this the making of 35 planters prepared for summer and fall. An animation renewed for 2025, still under the leadership of Daniel Meret, the Abraysian expert. A man much appreciated by all who, despite his resignation as president, will continue to take on the very popular courses.
