Marie Jay presents her first EP in Lausanne

2024 is barely over and Marie Jay is still struggling to assimilate everything that has happened. It must be said that the year was rich for the Lausanne resident. Between the release of her first EP last November, her victory at the Tataki Awards last month and her tour in Canada, the 23-year-old singer is perfecting her status as a star in the making. Melodious choruses, soft and sincere lyrics, the artist masters introspective songs as easily as dance hits. She will perform on the Docks stage in Lausanne on January 14, 2025.

Between sincerity and nostalgia, the singer finds a creative freedom in pop that allows her to share her deepest questions. Halfway between an adolescent diary and the first disillusionments of adult life, his EP “Trottinette” addresses universal heartache. “This project really allows me to assert a new independence, a kind of happy solitude.”

Its main objective for 2025: to maintain a privileged relationship with its audience. “What touches me is that I see more and more people I don’t know supporting me,” explains the Lausanne resident. Proof to support this, since the singer saw more than 30,000 followers join her community last year alone.

Besides, social networks are a bit of a second language for Marie Jay, who embodies her generation to perfection. In addition to managing her musical career, she also finds time to produce original videos and draw, while relaying everything on her networks, which she manages with a masterful hand. But it is in real life that Marie Jay expresses herself best. So on January 14, we take our scooter and head to the Docks.
