Porsche 911 Carrera S, with 480 hp and new equipment

Porsche renews the 911 Carrera S with even more emphasis on power and style. The variant between the Carrera and the GTS T-Hybrid benefits from a modernized engine, expanded equipment and a design reminiscent of the previous generation Turbo models.

A new life for the boxer engine

The heart of the new 911 Carrera S remains the classic 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine – combined with the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission – which now delivers 480 hp and 530 Nm of torque. Thanks to new turbochargers and an optimized cooling system, the engine offers an increase in power of 30 hp compared to the previous model, with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 308 km/h.

The standard equipment is completed by new 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels, as well as a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes. In addition, the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) system provides increased agility and speed when cornering. The standard braking system is derived from the 911 Carrera GTS and uses 408mm front and 380mm rear discs with red calipers.

Those who want to further upgrade the equipment can request carbon-ceramic brakes, PASM sports suspension to reduce ground clearance by 10 mm and rear-wheel steering.

From grand tourer to supercar on the track

The interior of the 911 Carrera S retains its now typical appearance, with leather upholstery for the seats, dashboard and door panels. As with other Carrera models, folding rear seats are available at no extra cost to replace the standard two-seater configuration.

And if the standard equipment is not enough for Porsche, leather upholstery is also available for the glove box door and side panels of the car. Added to this are the LED headlights with Matrix HD technology, the front axle lifting system and the Sport Chrono Pack, which allows you to track the times achieved during track days.
