Controllers, accessories, console… Nintendo Switch 2 leaks are pouring in

If you are also waiting for Nintendo to announce its future console and you spend a little time on the internet, you have inevitably seen a large number of leaks and other rumors in recent days. If we have been used to reading about it here and there for several years, these new leaks are becoming more and more numerous, and above all more and more credible. Recently, we were able to discover what the new joy-cons thanks to photos posted on Reddit. But even more recently, the entire console was “unveiled” by the accessories manufacturer Genki.

Right during the CES in Las Vegas, a conference dedicated to new technologies, the company Genki has indeed seen fit to present its new accessories dedicated to the new Nintendo console… while the Japanese firm has not yet revealed anything about the latter. And to better present them, Genki has above all recreated a fake console from what they knew of the real one. We therefore discover in particular a screen larger than that of the Nintendo Switch, magnetic Joy-Cons designed to detach from the side as well as a new button whose usefulness is still undetermined. Nintendo Switch 2 logo leaked

Even if Nintendo has not yet announced anything regarding the console that will succeed the Nintendo Switch, everything suggests that we have already seen everything there is to see other than perhaps the games available at launch. If we are to believe the most solid leaks like those mentioned above, it would therefore be a console very similar to the previous one, and it is not the brand new leak to date which will say the opposite. Indeed, on Twitter, the editor-in-chief of the site Nintendo universe claims to have seen the new console thanks to a photo sent by a reliable source. He then redesigned his logo exactly, and it would be the following:

At first glance we could say that there is nothing extraordinary, but if this logo is indeed that of the next Nintendo console then it would confirm several things. Firstly, the latter would therefore be called Nintendo Switch 2something which has not yet been confirmed by the Japanese manufacturer. Secondly, since the logo does not change much from that of the previous console, one would therefore expect that the rest of the leaks are also correct and that the machine is very similar to the first Nintendo Switch. Of course, as with other leaks and rumors, this is all speculation at the moment. According to the latest official news, Nintendo plans to reveal the new console during the current fiscal year, i.e. before the end of March 2025.
