The management of the Luxembourg School of Hospitality and Tourism (EHTL) welcomed Prince Guillaume, brother of Grand Duke Henri and his wife, Princess Sibilla, accompanied by their eldest son, Prince Paul-Louis of Nassau , for a meeting on the Diekirch campus.
During their visit, they toured the school premises and became interested in the pedagogy taught. The Apple Distinguished School label particularly caught their attention. It was explained to them that the objective of using Apple technologies is to stimulate students’ creativity and make learning more personal.
They also found out about the different training courses offered and followed the explanations of the EHTL director with great interest.
The first meeting with Prince Paul-Louis took place in May 2024, during a study trip to the United States. A student in hotel management, the prince acted as a facilitator, opening the doors of large hotels and allowing discussions with the management of certain establishments.
During his visit to Diekirch, he was able to interact with the classes of BTS Hospitality Management students about their professional projects. He highlighted the essential role of the hospitality and tourism sector and highlighted the numerous international opportunities that this sector offers, particularly in terms of internships and professional experiences in the United States.
