Milwaukee pushes the limits of power and autonomy with its two new M18 Redlithium Forge batteries 8.0 Ah M18 FB8 and 12.0 Ah M18 FB12
More power, faster charging, improved lifespan, these new Milwaukee M18 Redlithium Forge 8.0 Ah and 12.0 Ah batteries opt for “Tabless” cell technology generates less heat and guarantees 80% charge in 35 mins or 100% in 45 mins with the M18™ DBSC dual charger.
Smaller and lighter, this 8.0 Ah battery provides the same power as a previous generation 12.0 Ah (M18 High Output) and 50% more power for the new 12.0 Ah vs the old . In terms of performance, the M18 FB12 battery can make up to 185 cuts in 400 mm hardwood and 553 cuts in 50 x 100 mm softwood.
An extended life cycle
The new Redlithium Forge batteries guarantee a greater number of recharges with stable performance throughout their life. They also opt for a new design: laser welding, fully enclosed cell support, rubber overmolding, they provide optimized heat management, protection against vibrations and resistance to extreme conditions.
The new Forge batteries are effective even at very low temperatures. The new cell technology also guarantees superior cooling (+45% vs. previous generation) and less downtime on the site. Their robust housing has a patented coating against water and dirt infiltration and is resistant to oils, greases and solvents.
Compatible with the 290 tools of the M18 platform, they are equipped with an improved charge level indicator for optimal readability even in direct sunlight.

Battery recycling
Milwaukee, in partnership with SCRELEC, has established collection points that simplify the recycling and disposal of batteries. This initiative ensures compliance with legal obligations regarding the elimination of electrical waste. Milwaukee is committed to recovering and recycling battery components and substances such as lithium, reducing waste of raw materials. SCRELEC’s Batribox solution makes it possible to increase the recycling rate of batteries that have reached the end of their lifespan. 100% of the batteries collected by SCRELEC are recycled in specialized processing centers and 99% of this waste is recycled responsibly in France.
