Devialet will collaborate with Hisense for its video projectors, televisions and soundbars

Losing momentum in recent months and having recently looked for a buyer, the French luxury audio brand Devialet may have just found an agreement for several months of respite, or even for lasting development of its activities. In fact, it has just signed a collaboration agreement with the Chinese company Hisense.

According to the latter, this is intended to work in the long term. The next high-end Hisense products will thus be optimized by Devialet engineers both at the hardware and software levels. The devices will thus offer more immersive sound with better quality. In addition, we can count on the optimization of the orientation of the speakers as well as improved designs.

A win-win deal

For Hisense, this should allow it to move upmarket and offer its devices such as video projectors, televisions and soundbars new audio capabilities. For Devialet, this constitutes a vector for developing its know-how through more general public products than those distributed by the brand.

During CES 2025, Hisense and Devialet therefore announced a collaboration which should last a few years. At the moment, no product bearing both brands has yet been presented, but, according to Hisense, this should be the case by this spring.

At the show, a demonstration room features a Hisense Laser TV ultra-short throw video projector with 9 Devialet Phantom speakers, thereby expressing the harmonious combination of the two systems.
