African Confederation Cup: brilliant qualification of RS Berkane for the quarter-finals – Consonews

The Berkane Sports Renaissance (RSB), finalist of the last edition, marked a decisive turning point in its journey in the African Confederation Cup (CAF) and won against Stade Malien with a score of 1-0 . This success, won on the pitch of the Stade du 26 mars in Bamako, sealed their qualification for the quarter-finals, confirming their superiority in group B.

The only goal of the match, scored by Imad Riahi in the 64th minute, allowed the Berkane team to secure a fourth consecutive victory in this group stage. This away triumph illustrates the solidity of the team, which asserts itself as one of the great contenders for the title this season.

On the next day, next Sunday, the Berkanis will face the local Angolan club CD Lunda Sul in Luanda.
