Samsung is gearing up to launch a new Galaxy A56 smartphone, which reportedly recently passed Bluetooth SIG certification.
Here's what we know
As the certification reveals, the device, which carries the model number SM-A566B_DS, will feature Bluetooth 5.4 technology, which is an improvement over the Bluetooth 5.3 technology used in the Galaxy A55. The new Exynos 1580 chip, which is expected to power the Galaxy A56, supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, providing more reliable wireless connectivity and better power efficiency to devices.
In addition to the Bluetooth update, the Galaxy A56 is expected to get 45W fast charging support and longer support for software updates. The device is also expected to feature a new 12-megapixel selfie camera and the smartphone is expected to be slightly redesigned with a flat metal frame. The Galaxy A56 is expected to be revealed in spring next year.
