Do you want Diablo IV? You can try it for free, but you'll have to act quickly

Blizzard is currently offering players the chance to try Diablo IV and all of its expansions for free on PC and consoles. But be careful, the operation is temporary and you will have to act quickly to benefit from it.

Launched in June 2023, Diablo IV marked the great return of this cult Hack & Slash license to the forefront. Blizzard's biggest release in years brought together millions of players, at least in its early days.

Fatally, the servers have become considerably empty since then. If we are to believe the Steam Charts site, there are a little more than 8,350 players currently in the wastelands of Sanctuary.

Unfortunately for Diablo IV, the arrival of the DLC Vessel of Hatred and the new Sacresprit class will not be enough to bring together players en masse. And since December 6, 2024, the title must now face a major competitor, namely the excellent Path of Exile 2, available in early access since this date on consoles and PC.

So, in the hope of reversing the tide, Blizzard has just launched a new seduction operation. Indeed, PC and console players can today try Diablo IV for free.

Want to try Diablo IV? It's time

They will be able to discover the entire main campaign of the title, but above all, try the new Sacresprit class. A first. Please note that your character progression will be limited in the Diablo IV Free Trial. For good reason, it is impossible to go further than level 25.

Of course, if you enjoyed your experience and want more, you can resume your game by purchasing the game. Unsurprisingly, Blizzard is currently offering Diablo IV at a discounted price on the PlayStation Store, the Xbox store, Steam or Battle. net. Promotions go up to – 40% depending on the platforms. For example, Diablo IV accompanied by the Vessel of Hatred expansion is priced at €47.99 on PS4/PS5 instead of €79.99.

Coming back to the free trial, let's add that you'll have to be quick to take advantage of it. For good reason, the operation will cease on January 3, 2025. Let's remember in passing that Diablo IV is also available in Xbox Game Pass. If you want to access the title in its entirety at a lower cost (its extension is not included), this is the best way.
