Nathalie Bucari first worked in IT before the sale of design pieces imposed itself on her when, with her husband — at the head of a communications agency — she sold her house in the south of France and some of the furniture that she has found over the years. She was then surprised to see all of the pieces found buyers in less than ten days. “Sharing the history of these objects with buyers was a revelation for me”confides the founder of Paradise Gallery.
She then rented a small basement space, at 7, rue du Paradis, in the 10th arrondissement. A second space becomes available, then a third until the entire old ceramic factory gives way to the Galerie Paradis. “I have always wanted to desecrate the gallery visit, by bringing together collectors, designers, aesthetes, but also those who come to be inspired and smell the spirit of the times. The idea is to present an eclectic selection that focuses on transparency thanks to the prices displayed. » Thus, decorative objects, tableware and jewelry occupy the ground floor. In the first basement are the photo studio and the furniture restoration workshop where you can get good deals. Finally, the scenography of the second basement is particularly careful in order to suggest design ideas to clients.

Opened in 2023, the address quickly became essential, particularly with architects and designers like Rodolphe Parente, Hugo Toro and Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The reasons for success? The wide variety of styles and eras as well as the curation oriented towards emerging creators. Driven by this enthusiasm, the founder launched Club Paradis, a sourcing service for professionals and individuals, and will unveil a brand new selection next spring.
