A new product sheet that appeared on Amazon has just revealed several key characteristics of the next OnePlus 13R, expected on January 7, 2025. This mid-range smartphone, successor to the popular OnePlus 12R, already promises significant improvements.
According to the list spotted by Internet users, the OnePlus 13R will retain the brand's characteristic design, with flat edges and rounded corners. The photo module, although similar to that of the 12R, adopts a more compact layout that does not extend all the way to the edge of the device. The iconic Alert Slider remains on the left sidewhile the power button and volume keys are on the right.
One of the major advances concerns the battery, which increases to an impressive 6,000 mAh capacitycompared to 5,500 mAh on the previous model. So it's as much as the high-end OnePlus 13. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, thus confirming previous rumors.

The OnePlus 13R will be a slightly less ambitious OnePlus 13
OnePlus also emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence, with several innovative features: advanced note management, text cleaning and formatting, tone adjustment, summary creation, optimized voice transcription, and intelligent photo editing. An “Intelligent Search” system is also part of the new features.
The OnePlus 13R will be available in two colors: Silver and Black. This narrower color range follows the tradition of the 12R, which was also offered in just two shades on the international market. It should be noted thata cyan version with ceramic back will be exclusive to the Chinese marketwhere the device will be marketed under the name Ace 5 from December 26.
Although the price has not yet been officially announced, the OnePlus 12R having been launched at 699 euros, we can expect a slight price increase for this new version. However, given the higher price on the French market, OnePlus could perhaps keep it here. The OnePlus 13R will be presented at an international event alongside the flagship OnePlus 13, already available in China since October.
