Convinced that the Earth is flat, a YouTuber goes to Antarctica and discovers that it is round

The conspiracy theorist Jeran Campanella, owner of the Youtube channel Jeranism – who has more than 164,000 subscribers – planned a trip to the other side of the planet to prove his theory live.

The daily Le Parisien reports that Mr. Campanella has decided to participate in the collaborative project The Final Experimentbringing together supporters of the flat Earth and those of the round Earth with the aim of closing the debate once and for all.

Several YouTubers therefore traveled to Antarctica to observe the Sun for 24 hours, only to find that it was present throughout the day, which would not be possible if the Earth were flat.

Mr. Campanella spoke to his subscribers following this discovery, admitting that he was wrong all along.

;

“Sometimes we make mistakes in life,” he explained to his subscribers. “I thought there was no sun 24 hours a day, in fact I was pretty sure of that.”

“Don’t listen to my beliefs or opinion, it shouldn’t matter to you. But you should at least be able to accept that the Sun does exactly what these guys said, as far as circling the southern continent is concerned.”

The one who has changed sides recognizes that he will attract the wrath of his community.

“I realize I’m going to be called a charlatan just for saying that and you know what, if you’re a charlatan to be honest, then be one. I really believed there was no sun 24 hours a day… Now I really believe there is.”
