Arte will broadcast a documentary series on automobiles

Next month, the Arte television channel will broadcast a three-part series devoted to the history of the automobile.

The Franco-German TV channel, known for its quality programs, will broadcast from Tuesday January 14 at 9 p.m. a mini series devoted to the history of the automobile, which in record time has become the engine of the world. This program, also broadcast on arte.tv from January 7, 2025, will thus retrace in three episodes of 52 minutes each, a chronological account of the automobile throughout the world with incursions into the USSR or Mao’s China. The three episodes of this documentary will be broken down as follows:

• Human genius
• The consumer society
• Schizophrenia

Object with a thousand facets

This “historical” soap opera broadcast on Arte Mag which “summons the imaginations of Western societies“, will also give the opportunity to see or rewatch the advertising campaigns that have left their mark, to immerse themselves in legendary F1 Grands Prix or to learn about “frightening videos produced by lobbies“.
