The new range of DS Adapt drivers from Cobra Golf

The new Ds-Adapt range with FUTUREFIT33 technology and advanced aerodynamics, producing some of the fastest blades ever made.

DS-Adapt drivers are available in four models, offering extreme tuning options to optimize performance and meet the needs of all golfers.

The new range of DS-Adapt drivers features Cobra’s FUTUREFIT33 ADJUSTABLE HOSEL system. According to the equipment manufacturer, this is “the most significant and innovative adjustment technology ever created for metal woods”. This system offers 33 unique loft and lie settings, adjustable independently for the first time in a Cobra driver, opening up never-before-seen adjustment possibilities. These 33 adjustments can be made quickly and easily, whether in the studio, at home or on the course. Cobra’s SMARTPAD technology, with an innovative sole design, ensures the clubface remains perfectly square at address, regardless of loft or lie setting.

The four new DS-Adapt drivers incorporate a PROGRESSIVE AERO aerodynamic design to reduce drag and increase club and therefore ball speed. Each model has a specific shape to optimize performance depending on the type of player.

For the LS model, the 9° clubhead features a redesigned, slightly curved PWR-BRIDGE weight positioned as low and forward as possible to reduce spin and maximize ball speed. The 10.5° version does not include the PWR-BRIDGE but repositions the discretionary weight rearward, which slightly increases spin and launch, providing a more accessible version of the low-spin LS model.

Similarly, the 9° DS-Adapt to promote better launch and increased forgiveness. The DS-Adapt MAX-K model positions all weight to the rear of the clubhead to maximize forgiveness and consistency. As for the MAX-D model, all the weight is located at the heel to improve slice correction and provide exceptional stability.

Complementing the internal ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING system, the LS and X drivers also feature external, movable weights, allowing golfers to adjust their driver to change forgiveness, launch angle and spin.

The LS model features three adjustable weights (two front and one rear) that accommodate two 3g weights and one 10g weight. The 10g weight can be placed at the heel for a neutral flight, at the toe for a fade bias, or at the back to increase spin and forgiveness.

The X model Features a rear weight and a second front weight position, allowing players to position the center of gravity further forward to reduce spin and increase speed, or further back to promote launch, spin and forgiveness . The MAX-K model features a fixed 10g weight at the back of the clubhead to achieve the highest possible MOI, while the MAX-D model features a fixed 10g weight at the club head. heel to promote a draw trajectory.

The four new DS-Adapt drivers feature a multi-material construction with a lightweight carbon crown and sole, as well as a lightweight titanium frame for optimized weight distribution and increased stability.
