Noble Audio has just introduced new wireless headphones to its range. These are set to set a new standard among headphones and feature not two, but five drivers. Unsurprisingly, ANC is also supported.
The Noble FoKus Rex5 are an example of how headphones continue to evolve, as there are now models with more than one driver on each side. Headphones with more than one driver are now more affordable, but with the FoKus Rex5 ( ), Noble Audio pushes the limits even further with five drivers. Noble Audio pushes the limits again with five drivers. A 10-millimeter dynamic driver is paired with a 6-millimeter planar driver and three balanced armature drivers. The purpose of using multiple speakers is to produce balanced and powerful sound across the entire frequency range. According to Noble Audio, frequencies between 20 and 40,000 Hz can be generated.
A QCC3091 computer chip is installed, which notably supports aptX Adaptive and LDAC. The corresponding smartphone app can be used to personalize the listening experience. ANC is available, with which the autonomy is specified at 5 hours. Without ANC, battery life can reach 7 hours, and with a charging case it can go up to 40 hours. The aluminum charging case supports wireless and convenient charging, and the earbuds are also partially made of aluminum.
The headphones are priced at $449 by the manufacturer, excluding shipping.
