New Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra hands-on video gives new insight into design change

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is reportedly on track to launch in early 2025. As the rumored launch draws closer, more leaks regarding the upcoming phones have started to emerge. A recent S25 Ultra leak already showed the design change in photos, and now, a hands-on video has been leaked.

Like the leaked photos, this video shows the rounded corners of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. As Ice Universe added in the previous leak, this design change will make One UI 7’s animations more natural thanks to a constant “R angle” throughout.

The rounded corners would also give a better hand feel, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra would also be lighter than its predecessor. The new hands-on video also shows the redesigned camera rings. They appear to be the same as those on the Z Fold 6 (512GB currently, $1,514.99 at Amazon), which is what OnLeaks’ leaked render suggested.

These new camera rings weren’t visible in the previous hands-on photo leak, but as Ice Universe noted, it was a dummy model, which is not guaranteed to fully represent the actual phone. Although not really visible, the hands-on video posted at https://x.com/DalgleishGX/status/1861167174137651343 also shows thinner bezels than its predecessor, which previous reports already had hinted.

Furthermore, recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be available in three Samsung-exclusive colors Samsung-exclusive colors. However, a recent concept video showed off another exclusive color that reliable leakers haven’t talked about yet.
