TCL Projector A1 debuts with 120-inch screen for on-the-go entertainment powered by Google

TCL is perhaps best known for its giant-screen TVs, but the company says its new A1 projector integrates its display expertise into a less home theater-focused package.

The new projector supports FHD formats rather than 4K but is designed to produce an image with a diagonal of up to 120 inches out of the box. It is also equipped with its own Dolby Audio system but with a combined power of 16W.

TCL supports the A1 to broadcast its Google – with“realistic colors and sharp image quality“, although its brightness is set at a maximum of 350 ANSI lumens, compared to 450 for rivals such as the JMGO PicoFlix and Dangbei N2.

The A1 projector also incorporates an aluminum Versagrip handle (like the one on the LG CineBeam Q HU710PB) which can be slid into the front of the case to become a stand. It also features Light Sync RGB Light Sync ambient lighting on the sides.

The TCL A1 Projector is available now on sites like Amazon for $499.99.
