The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G will change, but we challenge you to find where at first glance

Images of the new Samsung Galaxy A56 5G have been obtained by OnLeaks. We discover a device very close to its predecessor, except for one detail, on its back.

It doesn’t necessarily jump out at first glance, but there is a difference in design between the current Galaxy A55 and the future Galaxy A56 5G – which would also benefit from performance equivalent to that of a Galaxy S21 Ultra .

Visuals shared in concert by Android Authority and the leaker OnLeaks, often well informed, give us a glimpse of a device whose lines repeat 90% of those of its predecessor… except for one detail: the framing of the three rear photo modules.

Galaxy A56 5G: a modest cosmetic change

Until now distributed independently (you can get an overview in the photos at the bottom of the article), the three sensors would now be encompassed in a vertical black band.

Beyond this modest cosmetic change, the old and new models would have the same look, with a non-curved screen, flat edges, rounded corners, unchanged location of the buttons, and the front sensor still housed in a hole in top of screen.

As Android Authority points out, this change relating to the rear photo sensors seems to be Samsung’s signature in recent months, particularly on its affordable mobiles. Recently, leaks revealed this same feature on the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36.

Regardless, the technical specifications of the new Galaxy A56 5G are still a mystery. At this stage, we especially know that the device should rely on 45 W fast charging, and that we would find a better selfie photo module.
